For my 9/11 narrative my plan is to explain the events I had experienced as a first responding firefighter on the morning of September 11th 2001. I will begin my writing explaining my past life and how i came to be a New York firefighter, who my friends and family are, and the morning of the attack. I will go into depth and detail about going to the twin towers from the firehouse and feeling fear and confusion. As my co-workers and I approach the building i will depict the noise I here and the peoples reactions while we responders are all walking in while everybody else is running out. As the narrative goes on I will explain what i was told to do and where to go by my officers, although they are not sure themselves of what to do. What was taking place on the street will also be included, including traffic, and falling debris. I will include in my writing how the events have effected me, like how i lost friends that were on the job with me. I will most importantly feel guilty for not being one of my friends that have past away during 9/11.

9/11 Annotation

Strozier, Charles. Untill The Fire Stopped Burning. New York, Chichester, West Sussex Columbia University Press New York, 2011. Print.

The book “Untill The Fire Stopped Burning” is told by a new york resident who had done research on the events of the terrorist attacks. Strozier, the author, interviewed witnesses, police, victims, family members, and rescue teams. The book is compiled with first person evidence of the attacks at the twin towers. This source will be very useful because there is a large variety of interviewees. Also, the author Charles Strozier has a great background of education so his work can be trusted.

Research Topic: september 11th 2011

The point of view I will be taking for my Semptember 11th research paper will be of a firefighter who survives through the terrorist attack. I will cover how my friends and family's lives had been effected from the bombings and the guilt I go through for not being one of my fellow fallen firefighters. I will explain the experience I had felt inside the twins towers.
